General Information

How do I contact Customer Service?

How should I dress for the course?
Dress code is business casual. We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater in case the conference room is cool.

Can I make hotel and flight arrangements through your website?
No we do not offer that service. We do however supply links to the hotel where the course is being held. This can be found on the course description/summary page. For confirmed registrants of the course, specific hotel information will be sent to you in your final confirmation package which will be emailed to you approximately three (3) weeks prior to the course start date. Please note that participants must make their own hotel reservations; the cost of the travel and hotel accommodations is not included in the course fee. We recommend that travel/hotel arrangements not be made until final confirmation package is received.

How can I be added to your mailing list?
Please go to Join our Mailing List and complete the information. Or you can email your information request to Customer Service.

How can I be removed from your mailing list?
To remove a name or address from our mailing list, we must have the complete address label from the mailing/envelope you received from us. You can fax the information to 732.238.9113 or email Customer Service. It may take up to 4-6 weeks to have your name removed from our system. Please note that Cobblestone works with lists from third parties sources and is not always able to remove your name from these lists.

I changed companies and would like to receive your information at my new location. What do I do?
Please provide us with both your prior company information and your new information. We must have the complete address label from the envelope you received from us; you can fax the information to 732.238.9113 or email Customer Service. It may take up to 10-12 weeks to have the information updated.

I am unsure of the type of course I should attend. Who can I contact?
Please send all detailed requests and questions via email to our Course Development Department.

I would like to suggest a topic for a course. How do I do this?
Complete our Topic Suggestion form and someone will contact you for more information.

I would like to be a speaker at one of your courses. How do I do this?

How can I register for an upcoming course?
You can register for scheduled courses through our online registration via our website; alternately you may complete the registration form on our brochures found on our website and email it to info@cobblestone.com or fax it to: 1.732.238.9113

How can I pay for my course tuition/registration?
We accept credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover), check, and for non-U.S. registrants we accept Bank Transfer. An Invoice option is available, but payment MUST be received prior to course start date. If payment has not been received two weeks before the course, a credit card will be required to guarantee admittance. Please note all tuition is payable in US funds net of all charges.

Your course tuition fee is in US Dollars. Can we also pay in Euros?
No we do not accept Euros, payment must be made in US Dollars. If you need bank information to pay using a wire transfer, please contact our Customer Service Department at 732-613-4500 or info@cobblestone.com.

What tuition discounts are available to me?
We offer an Early Bird Tuition Rate of up to $200 off the Tuition. This discount requires payment at time of registration and before expiration of the early registration date, otherwise regular tuition will apply. We also offer a Group Discount, register 2 or more people from the same company, at the same time, for the same course and receive a 10% discount off each registration. Only one discount may apply, multiple discounts not permitted.

I cannot attend the course I registered for. Can someone else from my company attend in my place?
Yes, substitutions are permitted at any time and must be in writing. Simply call our Customer Service Department for more information at 1 732.613.4500 or email them via email.

I am registering online; how will I know my registration has been received?
You should receive an email at the address you entered on the registration form within a few minutes of completing the registration process. If you do not receive an email please contact Customer Service. Please note that this email is not a confirmation of your acceptance into the course; you will receive a FINAL confirmation letter via email at a later date. If confirmation is not received two weeks prior to the course please contact Customer Service.

How will I know if I am registered for the course?
Before each course begins, all registrants will receive written FINAL confirmation via email including detailed information regarding course location. Contact Customer Service via email or call 1 732.613.4500 if confirmation is not received two weeks prior to the course.

What is included in the course tuition?
In the U.S.: tuition includes continental breakfast, luncheon, breaks, text (if applicable) and course notes. In Europe: tuition includes luncheon, breaks, text (if applicable) and course notes. Please note hotel accommodation is not included; you are responsible for making your own arrangements.

I have a special needs request. How do I let you know?
If you have any special needs, disabilities, and/or dietary restrictions we may address to make your attendance more enjoyable, please inform us when registering or contact Customer Service by calling 1 732.613.4500 or contact them via email.

I need a visa in order to be able to attend your course. How do I do this?
In order for our offices to provide you with a visa Invitation letter, we must first receive FULL PAYMENT of the course fee. After we receive payment, we will process a visa invitation on your behalf and send it to you for you to submit to the appropriate embassy. Please note that it does take 4 – 6 weeks for an embassy to process the request. Therefore, early registration is highly recommended. Also, when making your course booking, please note on the registration form whether you will require a visa or not.

What is Adobe Acrobat Reader, and why do I need it to see your course brochure?
Adobe Acrobat Reader is software that allows you to view and print files that have been saved in PDF format. To open PDF documents offered on our website, you must have version 4.0 or better.

How can I get Adobe Acrobat Reader?
You can download the latest version for free at www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html, through Adobe’s website. Follow their download and install instructions.

What do I need to participate in a LIVE Cobblestone Online Training Course?
You can easily attend a session from anywhere, anytime using a compatible computer or mobile device!
Our LIVE online training offers interactive participation. We highly encourage you to open YOUR microphone during the live course to allow for the free exchange of remarks and questions between attendees and course director.

Can I verify that my computer setup will work on the day of the Online Training Course?
We recommend that you check your computer at least two or three days prior to the Online Training Course. You may test your computer through the link included in your Cobblestone Online Training Course registration email confirmation.

How do I use Internet phone (VOIP) for audio in a training session?
To use Internet phone, ensure that your computer has the following: – a supported sound card – speakers or headphones Note: Audio for the session will come through our computer’s speakers; using this feature does not require telephone use.

When and how will I receive the login instructions?
Live Training: All participants registering through the Cobblestone website will receive an initial confirmation email upon verification of payment for the Online Training Course. Instructions on logging onto the Cobblestone Online Training Course will be emailed no later than two business days prior to the course start date. On Demand Training: Courses are available for viewing at your convenience at your computer. After registration and payment are complete, you will receive an email from Cobblestone

Who should I call if I do not receive the login instructions?
You can contact Cobblestone’s Customer Service Department at 732.613.4500 or via email and a representative will be able to help you.

When do I log in to a LIVE Cobblestone Online Training Course?
You may log into a Live Cobblestone Online Training Course within ten minutes before the start time of the course. Log in using the information provided in your email invitation or email reminders.

When can I get the course notes for the Cobblestone live Online Training Course?
You will receive an email from Cobblestone with an attachment containing the course notes. This will be sent to you within two (2) business days prior to the Online Training Course.

What if I have technical problems on the day of the Cobblestone Online Training Course?

Where can I verify my local time for the live Cobblestone Online Training Course?

What is the cut-off date for registering for a LIVE Cobblestone Online Training Course?
Online (Internet) registrations are accepted until one business day prior to the Live Online Training Course start date. If you have any questions about your registration, please contact Cobblestone Customer Service via phone at 732.613.4500 or via email.

What is included in an individual Cobblestone Online Training Course registration?
An individual registration includes, ONE Internet connection including the audio presentation and permission to print ONE set of course notes. If your name and email address are used for multiple logins, then Cobblestone will charge you for each additional email login. For information on multiple (group) registration, please contact Cobblestone Customer Service via phone at 732.613.4500 or via email.

Will I receive accreditation or a certificate for attending a Cobblestone Online Training Course?
All Cobblestone Online Training Courses offer CEU’s from The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). See the specific Online Training Course brochure for complete information on any other accreditation/certification available. Also, a certificate of completion will be provided to the person whose name appears on the registration. CEU’s will be awarded for participation at the rate of .1 CEU per contact hour. CEU will be awarded only upon successful completion of the entire course and submission of all polls and ending evaluation. Certificates will be emailed to the registered participants within two (2) weeks following the Online Training Course.

What is Cobblestone’s Online Training Course cancellation policy?
Live Training – Registrants have the option to transfer from Live to On Demand provided that they notify Cobblestone in writing up to two working days prior to the course start date. No refund will be issued for no-shows and/or cancellations. On-Demand Training – No refund or credit will be issued for no-shows and/or cancellations of on-demand training courses.

What is On-Demand Online Training?
Our recorded online training courses are available for viewing at your convenience at your computer. After registration and payment are complete, you will receive an email from Cobblestone with your access to the on-demand course along with links to the course material, quiz and evaluation. You will have 7 days to view an on-demand course of 6 hours or less; 14 days to view an extended online course of more than 6 hours. You must score a minimum of 70% on the the Learner’s Assessment (quiz) and complete the evaluation in order to receive your Continuing Education Units Certificate. Please note: Online or On demand courses associated with a certification require 80% accuracy on the learners assessment.

What is Cobblestone’s On-Demand Online Training policy?
Our recorded online training courses are available for viewing at your convenience at your computer. After payment and registration are complete you will receive an email from onlinetraining@cobblestone.com with your access to the on-demand course along with links to the course materials. You will have five (5) business days to view the 90 minute course, you will have seven (7) business days to view an extended online course. You MUST complete all polls and the course evaluation to receive your accreditation certificate for this course.

How is Cobblestone’s Live Online Training Interactive?
Our LIVE online training offers interactive participation. We highly encourage you to open YOUR microphone during the live course to allow for the free exchange of remarks and questions between attendees and course director.

Cobblestone’s LIVE Online Training is interactive in 3 ways:

(1.) Poll Questions – You will be prompted to answer Poll Questions at the end of each module. This is to review and summarize what you have learned in the module.

(2.) Formative Assessment Techniques – Throughout the online training course, the course director may ask the group a general question about their fields, experience or the course material. Sometimes a course director may want to see a show of hands after asking a question. You can do this by clicking the hand icon on your screen. The course director may also ask the group a “Yes” or “No” question during the presentation. You will do this by clicking on a red X for “No” or a green checkmark for “Yes”.

(3.) Q&A with the Course Director – A panel is located on your screen where you would submit your questions to the course director. At the end of the session, the moderator will read the questions aloud (anonymously) where the entire audience can benefit from the answer.


Are there group rates for Cobblestone’s Online Training Courses?
Yes, we offer group rates. Please contact Customer Service at info@cobblestone.com or 732-613-4500 for more information on our group rates.

PLEASE NOTE: U.S. Copyright Law protects this program. Multiple participants are not authorized to share access provided to a single registrant. For each individual who attends, a single dedicated seat license must be purchased, or a group rate must have been previously arranged with the Cobblestone. Cobblestone reserves the right, at its discretion, to cancel or interrupt access to a web-based training class without notice, or to invoice and collect the group rate payment for the class from the single registrant if this requirement has been violated.

Virtual Attendee Training Option

If I previously registered to attend in person can I change to attend virtually?
Yes you can transfer from being an in person attendee to a virtual attendee by contacting our Customer Service Department at 1 732.613.4500 or sberg@cfpa.com. Please note that you need to transfer no later than 5 (business) days before the course starts to ensure that your transfer is processed and that you receive your course materials in time.

What discounts apply to virtual attendee registrations?
Our group rate discount can be used when registering a group of 2 or more for a course with the virtual option. Please note Early Bird discount is NOT applicable to Virtual Attendees.

Do I need any special connection to access the virtual Training?
We utilize Attune’s(Attune formerly Microtek) Virtual Training platform for our Virtual Attendee Training Option. You can easily attend a session from anywhere, anytime using a compatible computer or mobile device. You will need an internet connection (high speed connection is recommended),and a computer/mobile device with webcam access and either internal or external speakers for the audio portion. Headphones are preferred for best audio quality. Users/Attendees are responsible for determining connection compatibility in advance of the course.

How do I access the virtual training class?
Once you are a confirmed virtual attendee, you will receive instructions from Cobblestone’s Online Training Department via email on how to log in as an attendee to the Virtual training. Cobblestone is not responsible for an attendee who fails to test their connection and access before the virtual training session begins. We recommend that you check your computer at least three days prior to the Virtual Training Course.

Do I receive course materials?
All attendees will receive a Cobblestone Virtual Attendee Package which will arrive no later than the day before the course starts. The package will include the same set of course materials that in person attendees receive.

Can I record the course?
No. Cobblestone Virtual Training cannot be recorded, copied, republished, shared or otherwise distributed. Unauthorized use of Cobblestone’s Virtual Training is prohibited and subject to legal action.

What happens if I experience technical difficulties during the course?
Any issues that occur during the course must be directed to Attune’s (Attune formerly MicroTek) technical support team at +1 888-799-9666 ext 2 or International +1 650-397-6096 ext 2. Don’t forget to mention that you’re a participant at an Attune event.

What happens if I need to cancel my registration or cannot attend the course?
Our Virtual Training Attendee cancellation policy is the same as our in person policy – ALL cancellations must be in writing and are subject to a $300.00 cancellation fee. Applicants may cancel up to four (4) weeks prior to the course start date for a refund, less cancellation fee. Applicants that cancel less than four (4) weeks prior to the course will be issued a credit, less cancellation fee, that can be used towards a future course up to one year from the date of issuance. If you do not cancel and do not attend you are still responsible for full payment. All course cancellations must be in writing and e-mailed to: info@cobblestone.com. No refund or credit will be issued to “No Shows” (a “No Show” is an applicant who registers for a course but who does not cancel their registration or does not attend the course).

Can I network and/or speak with the course director and/or other attendees in the course?
As a Virtual Attendee you will have access to see and hear everything that is taking place in the live classroom, raise your hands and ask questions, view and interact with course content (presentations, videos, whiteboard notes and more), all while experiencing real-time collaboration.

Can more than one person from my company log into the virtual training course using my log in information?
No, the Virtual Attendee Training Option is for individual registrants only. If you have a group that wished to attend please contact our Customer Service Department for special pricing. MicroTek’s log on information is for the registered individual only. Multiple log ons are not permitted and may result in attendee being removed from the course.

Do I receive a certificate after the course?
Yes, a certificate will be emailed to Virtual Attendees upon Cobblestone’s receipt of your completed course evaluation and completed self assessment exam.

What should I expect?
Cobblestone’s intention for our Virtual Training Option is to emulate as closely as possible the benefit of attending a Cobblestone in person course. As a virtual attendee you will participate with in person attendees and follow the same schedule as if attending live. Please note: Cobblestone in person courses are developed for a live audience. We have done our best to provide the same value to virtual attendees, but please be aware that some elements may not be available to virtual attendees (such as certain class exercises). In addition, since this is a live broadcast some variables we cannot control.

What is your Payment Policy?
Tuition payable in US funds net of all charges. Payment is due 2 weeks prior to course or at time of registration. If payment has not been received two weeks before the course, a credit card will be required to guarantee registration.

What discounts are available?
We offer a Group Discount. To qualify for the Group 10% Discount, registration must be for two or more enrollments registering at the same time, from the same company, for the same course offering.

What is the Early Bird Rate?
To receive the Early Bird Tuition Rate ($200 off Regular Tuition), payment is required at time of registration and/or BEFORE early registration discount expires or the regular tuition rate will apply. If choosing invoice/check/wire transfer, payment must be received prior to expiration of early registration discount or the regular tuition rate will apply. All tuition prices are a per person rate.

What is Your In Person Course Cancellation Policy?
ALL cancellations, must be in writing and are subject to a $300.00 cancellation fee. Applicants may cancel up to four (4) weeks prior to the course start date for a refund, less cancellation fee. Applicants that cancel less than four (4) weeks prior to the course will be issued a credit, less cancellation fee, that can be used towards a future course up to one year from the date of issuance. If you do not cancel and do not attend you are still responsible for full payment. All course cancellations must be in writing and e-mailed to: info@cobblestone.com. If for any reason, Cobblestone decides to cancel this course, we are not responsible for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by the registrant. Program content, schedule and instructors are subject to change without notice.

Are Substitutions Allowed?
Substitutions are permitted at any time and must be made in writing and submitted to Customer Service at sberg@cfpa.com.

Certification Program

How can I enroll in one of Cobblestone’s Certification Programs?
Enrollment is simple and can be done online….

• Select the Certification Program of your choosing.

• Select a course within the Certification Program and either:

o Register for any one of the required courses and indicate your desire to work toward your certification; or,

• Register for the entire series of courses by clicking on the Certification Program Option within any of the course registration pages.

o Registration can be completed online or by contacting the Cobblestone Customer Support Team

How much does the certification cost?
There are no additional fees beyond the standard course tuition. We do offer a significant savings option when you pre-enroll in the entire certificate program.

How do I become certified by Cobblestone?
To obtain your certification in your chosen program you must complete all the required courses listed in the program description. Certification Program Candidates must complete and score at least 80% in the Learning Assessment* for each course. *Learning Assessment is a means of testing that will be administered as part of each course. This resource will be used to verify that mastery of the subject has been achieved.

How long is the certification valid for?
At this time we do not have an expiration date for the Certification Programs.

Is there a time limit on when I must complete the Certification Program?
We do not require you to complete the courses in the program by a specific time. Since the courses are available in a convenient online format you can take them on your schedule.

What formats are the Certification Programs available in?
Our certification programs are available 100% online. The courses in each program are available from time to time in live format and are subsequently available on demand for your convenience. Check the Cobblestone website for the next live presentation or register at any time for the on demand course.

If I have already attended a course within the certification curriculum, can I have it count towards certification?
Yes, if you have already attended one of the courses in a Certification Program you can have it apply to your desired certification. Contact our Customer Support Team for more information.

What do I receive after I complete my certification?
After successfully completing each course within the certification program (completing and scoring at least 80% in the Learning Assessment* for each course), you will receive a Certificate of Completion. Once you have successfully completed ALL the required courses within your certification program you will receive a Certificate of Achievement.

Can I certify my team/group through one of the Certification Programs?
Yes, we offer group rates for our Certification Programs. Contact our Customer Support Team for more information and to receive a quote.
